Responsibilities
· Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
· Write well designed, testable, efficient code
· Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
· Prepare and produce releases of software components
· Support continuous improvement by investigatingalternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
Requirements
· BE/ME, MCA degree in Computer Science, Engineering ora related subject

· Proven hands-on Software Development experience
· Proven working experience of 5 years in Javadevelopment
· Basic understanding of JVM, its limitations,weaknesses, and workarounds
· Hands on experience in designing and developingapplications using Java EE platforms
· Object Oriented analysis and design using commondesign patterns.
· Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)
· Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL andORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
· Knowledge of concurrency patterns in Java
· Experience with popular web application frameworks,such as Play and Spark
· Familiarity with Java GUI frameworks {{such as Swing,SWT, and AWT depending on project requirements}}
· Familiarity with concepts of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful
· Experience in the Spring Framework
· Sun Java Certificate added advantage
· Experience in developing web applications using atleast one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)
· Experience with test-driven development
